So what is MensToyTester all about?

So… guys like sex (well, at least I do!)

And there’s a world of adult toys and experiences out there… but how many male focused and authored sites exist on the internet to guide us guys through the toys, gimmicks, marketing, and everything else?

Go ahead… Google it… I’ll wait.

Thought so. That was my experience also.

Not to say that there aren’t FANTASTIC men’s adult blogs out there – check out ruffledsheets.comor thebiggayreview.comfor a couple of great ones, if you haven’t already. However, online blogs about sex toys are mostly written from a female perspective.

And there are some great ones (heyepiphora.comand ohjoysextoy.comare wonderful) – and many of these sites cater for men by including male toys and the experiences of partners, husbands, friends and boyfriends.

Me? I love to research before spend my hard earned dollars on the latest piece of silicone, plastic, glass, metal or whatever that promises me earth shattering orgasms. I’ve spent thousands on products – some that are simply amazing, and others that leave a lot to be desired. I’m interested in sexuality as a whole, as well as men’s health, but it can be hard (no pun intended) to find the amount of information that I would like sometimes.

When I really thought about it, I figured out that the reason that there are so few sites written by men is probably due to the lack of willing guys to be sex-bloggers – or talk about adult toys. We blokes don’t seem to be as interested in writing online pieces about masturbation, dildos, pegging, or toys.

So I thought, don’t sit back and lament the lack of the male perspective… get off your butt and do something about it!

After days on the net reading about ‘web hosting’ and ‘domain names’ and ‘publishing platforms’… and more than a few phonecalls to GoDaddy… MensToyTester.com was born.

My plan is simple… test it, rate it, write it. A no-bullshit site where I can publish my experiences in the hope that it might help someone else. I’m working on the content as I go, and I’m by no means a professional writer, so trial-and-error will be my friend here. Honest feedback is the only way this site will be of any use to anyone… so please feel free to drop me a line and let me know your thoughts.
